My past experience as a business owner/entrepreneur coupled with unwavering ambition, is what differentiates myself and my team from other self proclaimed “business broker’s” in the marketplace. Broker’s that have zero experience as a business owner like you and I. Having built and sold a lower middle market company of my own, I know and understand what it takes to prepare and successfully sell a business for the best price and terms. When working with clients, I take great pride in helping other business owner’s and entrepreneurs monetize their “Life’s Hard Work”.

I’ve been very fortunate to assemble a phenomenal team of advisers here at BAE; after being a highly successful Business Broker for another firm in NYC. Through hard work and dedication I was able to achieve the Top-Producer award in 2014 & 2015.
I am currently an active member of Business Leaders of America, Mergers and Acquisitions International and sit on the Board of Pinnacle Incorporated. I’m also a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey. Everything i do is for my family.And I work very hard in hopes of creating a legacy for my loved ones. I also compete in a men’s competitive basketball league.

He has held leadership positions at various multi-national firms such as Ernst & Young, where he honed his skills in mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, procurement, management, and sales. An instinctive problem-solver and outstanding communicator, Ryan is one of BAE’s most dynamic deal makers, having helped close various multi-million dollar deals in the lower middle market. Unquestionably, Ryan’s greatest skill is his ability to shed light on opportunities or risks hidden within the complex financial analytics of selling a business. Ryan holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business finance from Wharton.

Jeff Kelly- ABV, CBI
M&A Intermediary/ Accredited Business Appraiser
Based in the Greater Philadelphia area, Jeff is a seasoned M&A adviser with decades of experience as an entrepreneur and business owner. He has been successful in buying and scaling several manufacturing companies in the Northeast. Every business that he founded or purchased was “Built to Sell”. He developed an exit strategy from day one. Jeff is BAE’s only certified business appraiser and handles the majority of appraisal assignments for the firm. Having bought, built, and sold his own companies, it has given Jeff the real world experience and know how to help others business owners successfully exit theirs for the best price and terms. His experience is invaluable as a business broker. Jeff is a major asset to not just Business Acquisition Experts but the clients that we represent.
Jeff is a contributing author to Entrepreneur magazine and holds a professional designation for Certified Business Intermediary and is Accredited in Business Valuation. He has been married for 20+ years and has 2 children.
Amitt Patel M.B.A
Based in the Greater New York area, Amitt is a former Investment Banker and Hedge Fund analyst. In an effort to relieve himself and his family from the Wall Street grind, Amitt bought a distribution business from Business Acquisition Experts. He still owns that business today and has been successful in assembling a management team that runs its day to day operations. Amitt has dedicated the rest of his free time to representing both strategic corporate buyers & business seller’s in M&A transactions. He is a dynamic professional with top-tier negotiating and analytical skills. Amitt is an expert in running M&A Auctions to create a “Competitive Bidding Strategy”. He is very passionate about M&A and the clients he represents with BAE. Amitt has the utmost confidence in the collective experience and integrity for the professionals at Business Acquisition Experts. After all, he bought a business from the firm before becoming a broker. Amitt specializes in the manufacturing and distribution sector and prefers working with larger companies with revenues above $3 million.
Amitt is an avid runner that has completed the New York and Boston marathons numerous times. He is the child of immigrant parents who moved to the United States with nothing. He is now living his version of the “American Dream” and loves every second of it!
Joe is a graduate of New York Stern School of Business and lives in Northern NJ. He is a detail oriented financial and corporate analyst with an in-depth knowledge of the Capital IQ and Reference USA platforms. Joe is Business Acquisition Experts leading analyst. His responsibilities include: creating and editing Confidential Information Memorandums “Pitch Books”, sourcing strategic acquisition targets for buy-side mandates, and competitive analysis.
Joe is a newly wed who is also an active real estate investor and day trader.
Katy is an SEO and Online Marketing Expert. She moved to the Northeast from Silicone Valley in which she worked in the tech industry for some major Fortune 500 companies. Katy is the core of Business Acquisition Experts global marketing strategy. She is a master of her craft that has positioned BAE’s exclusive business listings on every major search engine and business for sale website.
Katy is an food and wine critic that writes about her experiences in her blog. She currently resides in Manhattan.
